What better way to spend a chilly Sunday than to go……mushroom picking!
We headed out (a little too early for my liking) to the Moorooduc Estate Winery down on the Mornington Peninsula, which runs mushroom picking tours during Autumn and the beginning of Winter.
After trudging around in the cold and mud with our guide Cameron, we got to the best part.....eating.....creamy mushroom soup, mushrooms on toast, and of course, a glass of chardonnay. Delicious!
